The 2019 First National Bank (FNB) Whisky Festival will return with its third instalment in the capital on 27 July.
The festival, which was established in 2017, seeks to educate whisky connoisseurs, enthusiasts and novice about the beverage’s history and contents, as well as on different ways to enjoy it.
Speaking at the official launch of the festival in Windhoek, FNB Premium Banking Executive Officer Nangula Kauluma revealed that this year’s event will feature limited edition whisky bottles and attendees can look forward to a cigar lounge, deluxe coffee and a whisky shop.
FNB has also invited Durban-based whisky master, Tommy Larkan, to share his knowledge of the subject and demystify the “exclusivity” of whisky consumption.
“We’re really taking this event to the next level so we’ve decided that collaboration and partnerships are the way to do things,” she said.
Speaking further about partnerships and collaboration, Kauluma revealed that the event would also feature a Mercedes Benz exhibit and corporate discounts on handsets and devices from the iStore.
