Capricorn Group celebrated its second cohort of 29 student employees who completed a management and development programme from the University of Stellenbosch Business School here on Wednesday.
According to a statement availed to Nampa on Thursday, the programme is a commitment by Capricorn Group to invest in its employee development by increasing the capacity of its middle management, which it believes is a vital link between frontline employees and its executive team.
The 29 graduates who were selected from all the Capricorn Group subsidiary companies completed eight modules over seven months and presented their final project presentations to a select panel of subject experts from Capricorn Group and Bank Windhoek.
Top performing student employee and marketing and communications officer, Tarina Biewenga, was quoted in the statement as saying the biggest benefit of the programme was the skills she gained to create and implement strategies that could add value to Capricorn Group.
