Experienced and amateur golfers, including women, men, youngsters and senior citizens took part in the Bank Windhoek Independence Day Golf Championship that took place over the weekend in Windhoek.
Joseph Martin and Jonas Katti walked away with a floating trophy and several prizes as winners of the championship that was played in better ball format.
In second place were Danville Strauss and Hein Franken, followed by George Gariseb and Bertus Damon in third place.
“I would like to thank Bank Windhoek for their tremendous support. A total number of 72 players entered this year’s competition. The Bank Windhoek Independence Day Golf Tournament is an opportunity for golf enthusiasts to celebrate the country’s independence with their love for golf,” said Gustav Jung, Captain: Windhoek Golf and Country Club.
