In an effort to further the economic transformation potential of information and communication technologies (ICTs) in Namibia, leading national ICT anchor, MultiChoice Namibia, recently hosted its first-ever virtual agent conference.
A cutting-edge online event that connected 13 agents with 9 management members and 14 staff members in 14 different locations around the country, the conference sought to empower MultiChoice agents to constantly elevate the broadcaster’s customer experience across its various customer touchpoints.
In doing so, and in adopting an entirely online, COVID-compliant event, MultiChoice also flexed its muscle as a prominent ICT player in Namibia, demonstrating its unrivaled national agent footprint and ability to use the latest technology to connect and engage with its network of agents. The agents’ conference unpacked the importance of customer experience by continuously adding value to DStv and GOtv customers at all touchpoints.
MultiChoice Namibia is fast proving it is one of the country’s preferred ICT brands. This, by having successfully integrated into the digital migration era by leveraging technological transformation throughout its business as well as by adopting a #CustomerFirst approach to its customer experience.
“We are able to consistently adapt to changing environments, and the agents’ conference proved just that. Our business has leapfrogged from being a mere satellite-TV service provider to being an agent of digital transformation through providing high-tech platforms that speak to innovation,” explains Roger Gertze, Managing Director of MultiChoice Namibia.
MultiChoice Namibia is a wholly local company managed by Namibians, employing Namibians. It recognises the power of ICTs to transform economies by contributing to accelerated Gross Domestic Products and increased labour productivity growth rates. It is within this context that the broadcaster is cementing its position as an ICT anchor in the country, and using technology to enrich the lives of Namibians.
