Employees and clients at the Keetmanshoop Nedbank branch on Thursday gathered for breakfast at a local hotel to celebrate the branch’s 45th anniversary.
Nedbank Retail and Business Banking Executive, Richard Meeks in a speech said the bank’s presence in the southern capital remains a strong demonstration of its vested interest in the development and growth of the town and its people.
He said they remain committed to provide the public and private sector with a world of opportunity through their products and services right in their customers’ backyard.
“Gone are those days when everything was centralised in the capital city, it is a fully-fledged branch, all the bells and whistles our clients in the capital city have access to are available right here,” he said.
He said the bank is a sustainable business and not a fair weather friend, emphasising that they are trusted banking partners and a steward for financial success.
“Despite the economic downturn and the challenging business climate, we remain your committed money experts who aim to help you see money differently,” Meeks said.
He commended the employees at the Keetmanshoop Nedbank branch and urged them to renew their commitment to continue strengthening the Nedbank brand in the town.
“Let us back our service offerings and products with dedicated and great customer service,” he urged.
