The second edition of the /Ai //Gams Meat Festival takes place at the Khomasdal Sports Stadium on Saturday, 23 June.
The festival is hosted by the St Boniface Roman Catholic Church to raise funds for the construction of a bigger church to accommodate the entire congregation at the same time. The existing building in the Pioneerspark area of Windhoek is one of the oldest in the country.
Organisers promised a fun-filled day, especially for the younger ones, with pony rides, jumping castles and games.
Adults can look forward to a VIP wine bar as well as a motor show, bakery and butchery.
Live music will come from South African artists in the likes of Dr. Victor and the Rasta Rebels as well as the 2009 South African Idols co-winner, Sasha Lee Davids, as well as 2018 NAMAs Song of the Year winner, One Blood, and Big Ben.
The /Ai //Gams Meat Festival is made possible with the support of Nedbank Namibia, Air Namibia and the Namibian Broadcasting Corporation.
Gates open at 10h00, and entrance is N.dollars 100 for adults and N.dollars 50 for children 12 to 18 years.
