Bank Windhoek is proud to announce the renewal of its sponsorship of the 2017 Bank Windhoek NVF Cup.
The Bank sponsored N$80 000 for the Namibia Volleyball Federation (NVF) to host and organise this year’s event.
The tournaments will see the best two men and two women teams from each of the six Regional Volleyball Associations in Namibia competing against each other.
The first round of the cup will take place this Saturday at The Dome, Swakopmund on 2 September 2017.
“It will be an action-packed day of volleyball at the coast, with 24 teams (12 women and 12 men) playing from as early as 08:00 am to 20:00 pm, in the Dome”, said Hillary Dux Imbuwa, NVF Vice President.
The teams will battle it out to try and secure one of six places, per league, in the second round of the 2017 Bank Windhoek NVF Cup, which will take place at UNAM Campus, Katima Mulilo on 16 September 2017.
“This will be a very exciting moment for the volleyball family as it will be for the first time in the NVF history to host such a big tournament in Katima Mulilo of the Zambezi region”, said Imbuwa.
The finals of the 2017Bank Windhoek NVF Cup will be on 30 September in Windhoek. This will see the best four teams, per league, fighting to become the Bank Windhoek NVF Cup 2017 Champions.
