“Together we can do better, together we can impact more lives” – Rolf Hansen, CAN CEO.
The Deputy Minister of Health and Social Services, Hon Juliet Kavetuna, will join the outreach of the Cancer Association of Namibia, during the next National Cancer Outreach Programme in north-central Namibia.
Mrs Kavetuna, a registered nurse by profession, has a passion for fighting cancer she says, and will avail herself to work with CAN and impact lives in the communities of Otjiwarongo, Outjo and Khorixas next week.
The 3-day joint mission forms part of the greater CAN & MoHSS initiative to create awareness, educate, screen and treat patients in especially rural areas to prevent and/or earlier detect cancer in the country.
