Namibia’s leading digital enabler, MTC in collaboration with the Namibia University of Science and Technology (NUST) Faculty of Computing and Informatics ICTechHub, will be hosting a Tech Innovation Bazaar 23 – 26 September 2020.
The bazaar aims to bring innovators and their ideas together as well as connect them to investors, key industry stakeholders, mentors and partners in order for them to market their innovative ideas with the objective of incubating and absorbing their ideas into the market.
Last year, the leading telco MTC opened the first ICT Innovation Centre in Windhoek to test, build and showcase new business and consumer ICT applications.
Innovators who want to showcase ideas are thus called on to grab the opportunity and apply to be part of the tech bazaar to showcase their authentic and original ideas with a prototype ready for the market.
“It is engraved in our business approach that our aim is to improve the lives of our customers through innovative digital solutions and highly skilled human capital. We are well aware that there are your creatives in the ICT space and it is thus our duty to give them the space to showcase these skills,” said Melvin Angula, MTC Chief Commercial Officer.
Innovators will have to submit videos or presentations of their ideas and work. The submissions will be showcased to partner companies and possible investors. Any and all submissions will be submitted via Google drive or “Wetransfer”.
