Owing to the invaluable support of automotive industry representatives, dealers, auto journalists and car enthusiasts, Standard Bank has seen its annual Auto Show grow in leaps and bounds over the last few years.
Standard Bank’s Head of Vehicle and Asset Finance (VAF), Wim Lotter, made this observation this week as the bank is gearing up to host its next Auto Show at the end of the month.
“Our annual Auto Show has grown from strength to strength since its inception. We now have a lot more participating dealers and we witness car enthusiasts from all corners of the country attending to join in on the excitement of this auto-mania frenzy,” Lotter said.
The auto show not only gives automotive industry representatives and dealers an opportunity to showcase their latest car models, but also gives prospective buyers the chance to test latest vehicles on the market, all the while jumping the queue to get pre-approval for their dream car at affordable financing rates.
“Despite the fact that the automobile industry has been facing a few challenges, Standard Bank is not lagging back on the current headwinds and would like to partner with our loyal customers in the vehicle industry to create an awareness platform for them and generate sales for our VAF clients. Given this situation we would also like to give our customers and vehicle enthusiasts “never to be seen” specials as well,” Lotter said.
Since its inception in 2006, the auto show has gone from having 2500 revellers visit it for a one day event, to over 20 000 revellers visit it last year for a two day event. Over 30 dealers are expected to participate in the auto show this year as well. This makes the Standard Bank Auto Show has become an important event on the motoring calendar.
“I am optimistic that this year’s Auto Show will exceed our expectations once again, it is a great way to interact with potential clients and to expose brands to the general public. I would also like take this opportunity to thank our esteemed dealers and the general public for making the Standard Bank Auto Show a great success year on year. I encourage them to continue doing so,” he stressed.
The Auto Show will take place from 30 June – 1 July at the SKW Sports Ground.
While cars may be the main focus of the Auto Show, it also offers fun activities for the whole family and entertainment for the kiddies.
The 2017 Auto Show is bringing revellers an engine-flaring line-up of automotive excellence for their exploration. So save the date and find your dream car that thrills you and finance your purchase through Standard Bank VAF at this year’s Auto Show.
