FNB, through the FirstRand Namibia Foundation Trust and in partnership with the Khomas Regional Council, Directorate of Education, Arts and Culture, sponsored N$50 250 towards a holiday school programme for 100 Grade 12 learners at Jan Mohr Secondary School.
The programme, which took place between 15-18 August 2019, was aimed at helping Grade 12 learners prepare for the upcoming national year-end examination.
“FNB is proud to be a part of an initiative that gives learners the opportunity to excel and obtain better results, which will enable them to for possible scholarships. We are happy about the feedback from learners who indicated that they were exposed to different methods of accounting and that the exposure broadened their horizons.
Others said that it was a good revision session in preparation for the upcoming external exams” said Revonia Kahivere, CSI Manager at FirstRand Namibia.
