First National Bank (FNB) Namibia has committed itself to providing the best value to its customers through reduced banking fees and increased opportunities to earn rewards.
The bank said in a statement released on Monday as of 01 July 2019, its customers could look forward to a 40 per cent reduction in transfer fees.
Customers will be charged N.dollars 5 to withdraw with cashback or eWallet at point of sale devices, which would be 54 per cent cheaper than the cost at an FNB ATM.
Swipe fees will also be kept flat at N.dollars 5.
“The introduction of this new method of transacting means customers will be able to transact at over 4 000 points countrywide,” the statement said.
Chief Executive Officer of FNB Namibia, Erwin Tjipuka said the changes form part of the bank’s annual pricing review for 2019/20.
He added that the changes reflect an integral approach to helping its customers with money management in line with their individual and family needs.
