First National Bank (FNB) Namibia on Tuesday launched three new cash migration channels, aimed at offering holistic financial solutions for its customers.
The bank announced that through their new cash migration channels, namely; Cash at Till, Ewallet at Till, and CashPlus, they will continue to reach important milestones in their digital migration journey.
A first for Namibia, consumers and businesses will now be able to use their card and withdraw cash with their purchase at an enabled FNB point of sale at selected merchants.
Speaking at the launch here, FNB Namibia Chief Executive Officer, Erwin Tjipuka said digital banking remains a core strategic pillar for the bank, both from an enabled and convenient perspective.
“Our customers not only appreciate a consistent user experience but also getting access to more secure digital platforms that allow them to effortlessly cater for their general banking needs,” he said.
Tjipuka explained that banking today is markedly different compared to a few years ago, and the evolution continues to yield meaningful benefits for customers.
“In a society where financial inclusion remains a major challenge, it is very important to enable digital adoption through channels that are affordable and accessible to all people, whether the customer is new to the bank or they have been banking for a long time,” he explained.
According to him, FNB Namibia remains committed to delivering a consistent brand experience to their customers in a highly competitive market environment.
