Sanlam has announced the appointment of Denille Roostee as its Marketing and Communications Manager, effective 01 January 2019.
The company in a media statement said Roostee brings vast marketing and communication skills and expertise to the position.
Along with her team, she will focus on adding value by championing financial education and offering invaluable financial product support to Sanlam financial advisors.
Roostee will also continue to engage and nurture existing and prospective clients and customer relationships.

Commenting on her appointment, Sanlam’s Head of Brand and People, Evans Simataa said they are grateful and excited that a person of Roostee’s calibre has chosen to join the Sanlam family.
“We have no doubt that her extensive knowledge and expertise will serve and benefit not only Sanlam, but Namibians in general in the areas of financial literacy and improving investment and insurance knowledge,” he said.
Roostee worked for Old Mutual in varying positions, rising in the ranks to become the business unit marketing manager in 2017.
In addition to her Bachelor of Commerce in Business Management and postgraduate qualification in business management and administration from the University of Stellenbosch, Roostee also obtained advertising qualifications and leadership training.
