Re-affirming it’s commitment towards the fight against cancer, Namibian Community Trust, previously known as Namsov Community Trust donated N$50 000 to the Cancer Association of Namibia for the betterment of the patients.
Our aim at Namibian Community Trust is to make an impact nationally towards the fight against cancer. It is for this reason why we saw the need to back this project geared towards assisting patients and their families said Molatudi.
Namibian Community Trust has contributed over N$ 1million since 1991 to date towards Cancer Association.
Cancer diagnosis is on the increase, we are also happy that treatment plans and assistance to those in need can be better provided for and thus saving more lives through the House of Acacia. This is indeed a “home away from home” for cancer patients in Namibia as per the Moto of House Acacia said Molatudi.
“Cancer touches the lives of any person, no matter your race, age, gender, financial or educational background,” Hansen explained.
He also thanked Namibian Community Trust for their generous support and indicated that the donation will be used to purchase food for the cancer patients staying at the House of Acacia. House of Acacia provides free accommodation, 3 nutritional meals, linen, towels and transport daily too cancer patients while receiving treatment in Windhoek.
As one of the key players in the Namibian private sectors, at Namibian Community Trust we believe that we should complement Government’s quest in delivering essential services, such as basic daily needs to all Namibians in all corners of the country. It is for this reason that we donated N$ 25 000.00 to Ms. Igenensia Hange. This donation is to ensure that her triplets are well feed every month till their 1 year old and ready to walk said Molatudi.
Molatudi further said the donation is split over 12 months and she will receive N$ 1850 every month to buy basis needs such as milk, nappies and baby food for her triplets.
Namibian Community Trust also handed over baby clothes, nappies, milk, baby bottles and baby essentials to the value of N$ 2 500.00
Igenensia Hange could not hold her tears back, while thanking Namibian Community Trust for their generous support. She further thanked the Namibian Nation at large for coming through and offering their support
With the support from Namibian Community Trust, I am guaranteed that my triplets will grow up to be healthy babies. I thank you from the bottom of my heart said Hange.
