Old Mutual Executive for Marketing, Transformation and Customer Strategy, Ndangi Katoma officially handed over a donation of N$200,000.00 (two hundred thousand Namibia dollars) to the Minster of Health and Social Services Hon. The Minister, Dr Haufiku thanked Old Mutual for the donation and confirmed that the health sector has goals and ambitions to achieve as highlighted in various strategic plans including the Agenda 63, the HARAMBEE Prosperity Plan and the desire to deliver quality health services but to achieve these goals requires support and effective public private sector partnership. Dr. Haufika therefore saw this donation as a positive achievement and showed appreciation for the spirit of partnership shown by Old Mutual.

Mr. Katoma further alluded that when the Minister of Health and Social Services, Dr Bernard Haufiku appealed to the Namibian private sector to support the Ministry and ensure continuing operations at the Windhoek Central hospital eye clinic last month, Old Mutual positively responded to this call because it resonate well with the purpose of Old Mutual to champion mutually positive futures every day in the community in which we operate.

“As many of the patients being provided such public health service are our customers, we believe that this support will enable our people to live great lives and continue to Do Great Things Every because The Time is Now!” Katoma concluded.
