The first edition of the Windhoek Craft Beer Festival will take place at the Trustco United Sports Ground in Olympia on Saturday, 08 September.
The festival is hosted to bring to Namibia craft beer and the events that revolve around them – which already has taken off in a big way in South Africa and globally.
Organisers promise a fun-filled day, especially for the younger ones with exciting activities to look forward to such as jumping castles and face printing provided by Kickstart Productions.
As for the adults, there will be a beer pong competition consisting of two team members with an entry fee of N.dollars 300 per team and over N.dollars 20 000 in various prizes to be won.
Artist from South Africa are also expected to perform including the likes of Bourbon & Traffic, Vaughn Arenas and ShenFM.
There will also be an impressive display of craft gins and brandy from Wilderer Musgrave, Wixworth Gin, Parow Brandy and more pairing with the full range of Fitch & Leedes bespoke mixers.
Visitors can also expect a delicious array of edibles from oysters, prawn skewers, bratwurst, cheese grillers, gourmet burgers, pizza, specialised ice-cream, sweets, desserts and a whole lot more.
Gates open at 11h00 and entrance is N.dollars 150 for adults and free entry for children under the age of 12.
