The new and improved Standard Bank Biltongfees and Auto Show promises to be a spectacular event, with the most enticing food, entertainment and best models that the automotive industry has to offer.
Car enthusiast in the coastal of town of Swakopmund will also have the opportunity to experience the most anticipated event on the Namibian entertainment and automotive calendar as the event will kick off there.
Standard Bank’s Head of Vehicle and Asset Finance, Wim Lotter, promised that the Bank and its collaborators were taking the event to new heights, with a have a new name, look and feel, that embodies a festival feel.
Apart from the dealers showcasing some of their best models and revellers having a taste of the best Biltong Namibia has to offer, there will be a little something for wine lovers, music lovers and entertainment for the little ones so they too have something fun to do.
While typical auto shows are about showcasing the product only, the Standard Bank Biltongfees and Auto Show also shines light on the various stakeholders who make the automotive industry succeed locally.
“The objective of the Standard Bank Biltongfees and Auto show is to create a platform for selected dealers, suppliers and stakeholders in the market and to create awareness for prospective buyers…” Lotter said during the dealers’ launch event.
Freestyle Motocross World Champion Freestylers will have revellers awe-struck with their daredevil stunts, while the likes of Theuns Jordaan, Adam, Bobby van Jaarsveld and Leah, set the ambiance with their beautiful tunes.
The Lollo’s will keep the little ones entertained and African Marketing will ensure that wine lovers keep their throats lubricated as they host 13 premium wine estates at the event.
Foodies will be happy to know that the Nederduitse Hervormde Church promises to tantalize their taste buds with the best in local cuisine, while they witness the crowning of the Miss Biltongfees.

The Coastal Autoshow will take place on 27 and 28 July at the Dome, while the Standard Bank Biltongfees and Autoshow will take place in Windhoek on 3 and 4 August at the Trustco Sports Fields.
The Coastal Autoshow will kick-off with a parade through Swakopmund to the Dome on 26 July, from 15h00-16h00.
