Agra’s revamped branch in Maltahöhe in the Hardap Region will open on Friday.
A statement availed to Nampa on Monday said as a token of appreciation for the support during the construction phase, a variety of products will be offered at discounted prices.
The re-opening of the Maltahöhe branch comes a few months after Agra reopened its revamped Otavi branch. Other recent developments include the opening of the newly built Karibib branch and the upgrading of the Tsumeb branch.
The statement said the revamped Maltahöhe branch boasts more shelves, more storage space and a larger variety of products.
“Additional water coolers and air conditioners, as well as a bigger parking area, will add to customers’ shopping convenience,” it said.
The Maltahöhe outlet now has a total floor space of 1 045 square metres, after additional floor space of 745 square metres was built adjacent to the previous shop.
A salt store was also constructed, along with improved facilities for receiving and handling Swakara pelts.
“Agra aims to expand its retail services to communities in southern Namibia. This improvement and expansion of the branch was driven by emerging business opportunities as well as greater needs of the southern community,” the statement said.
The official opening is earmarked for May.
