March is “National Spray-a-Thon” time and the Cancer Association of Namibia and friends invite Namibians to join in creating awareness on cancer in our communities by going ‘colour crazy’ during 2 – 9 March 2018.
CAN teams will be at various Windhoek traffic intersections on Friday morning, 2 March 2018, to “shake-a-can for cancer”, while Windhoekers can spray their hair on Saturday morning (3 March 2018) for a N$20 donation between 9:00 – 12:00 at The Grove Mall of Namibia, Maerua Mall in Windhoek. This, while the Erongo team will be busy at Woermann Brock in Swakopmund town centre and at The Dunes Mall in Walvis Bay.
Several corporate companies and schools will also participate, while nationwide, CAN’s committee’s will also host spray-a-thon events in local towns.
All proceeds from the 2017 event goes to the CHICA Fund that support the CHICA Interim Home, childhood cancer patients financially and also to support the Ward 8 West Paediatric Oncology Ward at Windhoek Central Hospital.
