Ten Namibians are diagnosed with cancer on average daily, with 54% of all cancer diagnosis being women.
The Cancer Association of Namibia and West lane Spar on Monday launched the 2017 My Spar Pink Day campaign in Windhoek.
The Power Punch for Pink t-shirt is for sale at N$150 at all participating Spar Namibia stores nationwide, in addition to the Cancer Association of Namibia head office in Windhoek and the new CAN Erongo Centre that will be officially opened on 28 September 2017 in Swakopmund.
Proceeds of the Pink Day (on 27 October 2017) will benefit the women’s health clinics that CAN hosts throughout the year, whereby ladies need only pay N$75 for a clinical breast examination and Pap smear, fighting Breast – and Cervical Cancer Contact Renay at 061 237 740 or admin@can.org.na to place bulk orders.
