The Government Institutions Pension Fund (GIPF) encourages all pensioners, children and
other annuitants in the Khomas Region to enroll on new biometric enrolment and verification
system. We are pleased to announce our participation at this year’s Windhoek Agricultural
and Industrial Show as from 23rd September to the 1st October 2022.
GIPF will be enrolling pensioners, children and spouses who are not yet enrolled on the newly
launched biometric enrolment system. The Fund therefore implores all unenrolled annuitants
in the Khomas Region to get enrolled during the Windhoek Show or to alternatively visit the
GIPF Head office or the B1 City office.
Members are encouraged to bring the following documents for enrolment:
Full birth certificate
* Valid Passport
* Valid Driver’s license with birth certificate
* Voters card with birth certificate
In order to ensure pensioners, children, and spouses continue receiving their benefits
uninterrupted, GIPF is calling on annuitants to get enrolled as soon as possible. Kindly note
that once the enrolment stage has been concluded the next phase of the biometric verification
will commence.
Pensioners, children and spouses in the regions who receive a monthly income from GIPF are
also encouraged to ensure that they are enrolled. Enrolment to the Fund can be done at any of the GIPF offices nationwide with the exception of the GIPF satellite regional offices namely;
Grootfontein, Nkurenkuru and Opuwo.
In addition, GIPF will also be offering services such as printing of benefit statements, printing
of income statements, providing advice on pension, members can also follow up on their claims
check up on their admissions status.
