Khaudum Full Moon Waterhole Game Count 2022 Dates for 2022 full moon game counts are 9 – 14 August, 7 – 12 September and 6 – 11 October.
The full moon game count is becoming ever popular in determining wildlife population distributed across a large semiarid woodland devoid of natural surface water. Friends of Khaudum and those who have signed up meet for a preparatory talk.
Thirteen artificial waterholes and one fountain are to be manned during each count. Each team consists of at least six persons. Three waterholes are still to be manned / allocated in August and two in October.
