FNB Namibia this week launched the third Restaurant Week in Windhoek. Sanja van den Berg, Marketing Officer: Digital and Self-Help channels at FNB Namibia: “FNB Restaurant Week is a culinary experience where restaurants in Windhoek, Swakopmund and in Walvis Bay take part in different categories to be crowned the best restaurant in their field. We are proud to be associated with the Restaurant Week in support of great food, good wine, great service and togetherness.”
FNB Restaurant Week is centered on contributing to uplifting and highlighting customer service in the hospitality industry. Sanja explains that FNB Namibia’s intention is to be the catalyst to increase the service experience in Namibia, and particularly in the hospitality industry. “Often, we talk and write about bad experiences, but we should also praise and mention the great experiences. And we firmly believe this will be a positive experience for all patrons who visit the different restaurants and to the restaurant owners and staff alike.” She thanked co-sponsors Get Graphics, Radiowave, Windhoek Lager and Seapride Foods as well as Krisjans who hosted the launch.
Founder and promoter of this great initiative, Leoni Cohen-Velida added that approximately 52 restaurants would participate this year in the categories of Restaurant. Café/bistro, and Franchise during the week of 25 August to 3 September 2017.
“Dine out and explore Namibian restaurants at their best, and stand a chance of win. This year’s event promises to be a cut above the rest,” says Leoni Cohen-Velida (founder and promoter of FNB Restaurant Week).
“We’re excited to participate in the FNB Restaurant Week. We look forward to showing our patrons what makes Krisjans special, as we are a growing franchise in Namibia,” added Manager Tjipe, Krisjans Manager.
